Standing Sushi Bar - Stuff your tummy with some of the most affordable salmon sashimi!
Standing Sushi Bar is well known for their irresistible promotions that goes on almost everyday and reservations is highly recommended. The most popular days to go will be Mondays and Thursdays with their $3.00 salmon sashimi, $2.00 sake, $5.00 beer, wine, hot sake, and umeshu deal!
SALMON SASHIMI ($3.00)
Each order comes with five slices of salmon and are evenly sliced into decent sizes. Decided to order four portions and all were extremely fresh and skillfully cut. Served with a side of wasabi and a touch of soy-sauce, and the trip here was already worth it.
SAKE ($2.00)
With tempting prices like $2.00 for a shot of sake, and $5.00 for beer, wine, hot sake, or umeshu, it's no wonder the place is packed during the weekdays.
Aside from their promotions, there is also a happy food hour from 5:00 pm to 8:45 pm at selected outlets!
YAKITORI ($5.00)
Skewers of chicken drenched in a sweet teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Juicy and succulent chicken thigh meat, can't go wrong with that.
SALMON SKIN ($5.00)
Salmon skin that has been fried to a crisp and lightly seasoned with salt. Doesn't taste oily and a great snack to munch on.
SALMON AVOCADO KANI SALAD ($5.00)
A simple salad topped with salmon, avocado and crabstick, drizzled with a light salad vinaigrette. A refreshing and simple combination that is perfect to start off the meal.
KAWA EBI ($5.00)
Small river shrimps that are fried in a light batter. These little addictive shrimps once picked up, you can't stop.
IKURA OROSHI ($5.00)
Ikura Roe on a portion of shredded daikon. The roe was plump and springy with a burst of flavor.
MENTAI TOFU ($5.00)
Silky smooth tofu with a mentai sauce served on top. Just the sauce alone is enough for me to order this.
Aside from the small portions of the bar bites, the highlight of Standing Sushi Bar was definitely the Salmon Sashimi with its excellent quality and affordable price.
