Nam Nam Noodle Bar - A comforting and hearty bowl of Vietnamese bowl of noodles

Nam Nam Noodle Bar is one of my favorite place to enjoy a bowl of comforting noodles and piping hot broth. With many different bowls of noodles to choose from such as the classic chicken pho, or the unique Sautéed wagyu beef noodle, one may get lost in their wide selection.

There is quite a selection of seasoning and condiments to accompany your noodles. Starting from left; Limes, Chilli Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Maggi seasoning sauce, Fish sauce, thai sweet sauce. Just mix and match the sauces with every mouthful of noodles! 


 FRIED PRAWN AND PORK ROLLS ($5.50)
Thin and crispy thin wrap fried to a crisp, and filled with a savory mixture of pork and shrimp. The wrap lacked the flavors of prawn but the pork alone was succulent and delicious with the crispy shell. The rolls are paired with a sweet and sour sauce for a refreshing zing .


SOUTHERN ROLLS ($5.20)
The Southern rolls served here, also known as Gỏi cuốn in Vietnamese, are wrapped with rice paper and lettuce, and filled with vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs and a protein of choice protein, in which prawn are used here.

The rolls were fresh and goes really well with the peanut sauce served on the side. The fried shallots and scallions gave an added texture to the rolls as well. Switch the flavors up by pairing wrap with the hoisin sauce provided on the table for a different taste!


 PHO PORK BALLS ($8.90)
A hot bowl of rice flour noodles in a clear comforting broth filled with herbs, onions, chilli and pork balls. The rice vermicelli noodles were chewy and goes well with the robust broth. The pork balls were large and generous with the amount served, and it was delicious tender and seasoned.


PHO BEEF COMBINATION ($10.00)
Not sure what to get? Why not try the pho beef combination where you get a little bit of everything. Succulent thin slices of beef steak served medium rare, bouncy beef balls, soft and slippery tendons and chewy honeycomb tripe. My favourite part of the this noodle was the rich broth. The ingredient's beefy flavor is infused into the broth for a more robust and earthy taste

If you are looking for a hearty comforting bowl of pho, this is definitely the place to go! This is one of my favorite place to have a quick lunch and enjoy quality Vietnamese Cuisine.
