Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant - A unique dining experience you must try at least once
It was my Aunt's 60th birthday and my family will be celebrating this special occasion in one of the longest established restaurant, and also one of the few revolving restaurants operating in Singapore!
Shredded scallops with fish and egg white
The waitress stirred up the egg yolk and a dash of vinegar before serving into individual small bowls. Very generous chunks of scallops that were sweet and succulent, and evenly coated with luscious egg whites. Simply a luxurious dish.
Shark's Fin Soup with Crab Meat
The shark fin soup tasted similar to those served in hotel banquets.
Authentic Barbecued Peking Duck
Thin and crispy duck skin wrapped within a crepe. Served with cucumber. horseradish and a thick sweet bean sauce on the side. We each had two pieces, but it was definitely not enough for everyone.
Braised sea bass with garlic and minced meat
The waitress de-boned the fish and mixed it up with a sweet tomato sauce. The fish was slightly tough and dry for me.
Sautéed Salad King Prawn
Sadly only one large prawn for each person. The prawn was huge and the garlic sweet sauce was a nice compliment.
Sautéed Fresh Scallops with Broccoli
Once again, similar standards to those in hotel banquets. Decent and vegetables had a nice bite.
Sautéed Noodle with Shredded Duck Meat & Peppers
Egg noodle with duck meat in a thick black sauce. Disappointingly the worst dish of the night as the duck was very dry and overcooked.
Red Bean Pancakes
Pancake filled with a sweet red bean paste, sandwiched between the soft glutinous rice flour.
It doesn't look like your typical western style cake, but it sure was outstanding!
Overall I enjoyed the ambiance and service they provided. The food was really good especially their signature Shredded scallops with fish and egg white. A memorable experience that I recommend everyone should try at least once!
