Many would have heard or dine at the popular Lola's Cafe before. However not many is familiar with it's "sister" outlet, On The Table, which is conveniently located near Pasir Panjang MRT. Even though the outlet here is definitely smaller, but so is the crowd. 

A beautiful pairing of ingredients of the earth and the sea by using Swiss mushroom and tender flaky salmon. Each bite of the al-dente pasta is coated with the robust truffle cream sauce, which accentuate the earthy mushrooms flavor from the Swiss, while the soft chunks of salmon contrasted the dish heavily with a light tender flavor.

Chewy al-dente elbow pasta mixed with truffle cheese sauce, topped with pieces of honey glazed bacon and sprinkled with crumbled cheese. Even though the pasta was slightly dry, the flavors from the cheese and truffle infused into the pasta was extremely robust. When paired with the chewy bacon and stringy cheese, it gave a nice mouth-feel to the dish, complimenting the chewy pasta.

What better way to end of the day with warm, crispy waffle lying on a bed of chocolate syrup and honey. Both the Thai milk tea and Baileys and Brownie flavors were not too sweet but the flavors were really pronounced, Both were equally as good, and definitely worth the every penny!
